David Colón is a freelance guitarist based in the Los Angeles area. He is graduate from the California State University Northridge Jazz Program where he won several awards for performances with varying ensembles ranging from trio to big band. He also won 3rd place at the 2015 International Wilson Center Jazz Guitar Competition.

David has gone on to play in various guitar roles including performing musical pits with LACSA and CSUCI, and with the Igor Kogan Big Band at venues like The Blue Whale, Vibratos, and Vitellos. Also performing with LA based artist such as Jocelyn Jayne, Gracie Gray, Clark Sims and Marlaina Smith at venues like Hotel Cafe, The Viper Room, The Bootleg, Molly Malones, and The Satellite. Currently David has released since his debut album ‘Right From The Start’ with his project David & Joss and also teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano at Grayson’s Tune Town.
